As a family business, we aim to provide a professional and personal service for all our customers however big or small everyone gets the same service. We work within the contract furnishings sectors to provide unparalleled quality in all projects that we do. Within our company, we have over 60 yrs of experience that we use to assist our clients. From this experience, we are only too aware that every one of our customers has individual requirements, whether it’s a metre of fabric or a contract for a hotel, school or nursing home. We tailor our service to your requirements and are here to help you every step of the way.

You can be sure that by working with Direct Fabrics you will get a personal service. Our customer service team prides themselves on working to give all our customers clear concise advise and informs everyone where they are in the buying process from receiving samples, quotes or post order. When you pick up the phone you will be able to speak to the team between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. You may even speak to the Director himself as he likes to play a keen role in the day to day activities of the company. Our team are happy to quote with a no obligation. As a company we offer fully transparent costing of how your project will piece together, so you know exactly how your prices are derived and where your quality curtains and blinds are coming from.

Since Direct Fabrics website commenced trading in 2011 the team has worked to provide exceptional service and make the purchase of contract flame retardant products simple and easy for clients to make through a leading website. We have completed projects for the most prestigious hotels including the Marriot, Sheraton, Hilton and many more. We have also worked with schools including Queen Ethlebergs, Churchdown School and more. We have also completed projects for NHS and Councils. The list of projects in endless over the last few years.

Brief Piece of History About the Direct Fabrics Family.

Direct Fabrics has come from humble beginnings and this little snippet is from an article produced relating to our now dormant retail business. Closed after the passing of the founders who started our journey is the soft furnishings world.

"Joe Simon commenced trading in 1947, his market stall was the place to buy velvet in the North East. Joe and his son Martin soon became known as ‘The curtain men from Leeds’ the chances are that if you are from the North East someone in your family will remember the ‘curtain men’ from the early days. Nowadays Direct Fabrics is a third generation family business. Over the last 60yrs we have expanded our business and thanks to our loyal and dedicated staff, continue to provide you with not only velvet but a comprehensive range of hotelweight and other quality fabrics and contract textiles, including bedding, towels and restaurant linens all at competitive prices"
