This 3-sided bay window curtain pole is designed to suit a square or angled bay with three sides, and the kit can also be used for L-shaped windows. The pole is supplied as a 400cm kit made up of two 200cm poles, with a joining splice and fixings.
For L-shaped installations, the source content states a maximum of 200cm per side going around the corner. For a traditional 3-sided bay, the maximum centre span stated is 240cm, achieved by cutting the 200cm poles down to 120cm for the centre section, leaving up to 80cm returns on each side.
Bracket positioning matters: the end bracket needs to be set 10cm in from the end of the pole to help hold the pole firm. Where eyelet curtains/rings are used, rings will not pass the brackets, so stacking will occur at those points.
