Mimas is a soft-handle, plain dyed inherent flame retardant polyester dimout fabric designed for curtains and contract soft furnishings. It is a practical choice when you need a clean, modern plain fabric with dependable performance and a wide colour range.
It is commonly used for FR curtains, blinds and coordinating accessories such as cushions, throws and headboards. It is supplied by the metre for flexibility on both domestic and commercial projects.
Dimout helps reduce incoming light. For stronger control, specify a blackout lining on the finished curtains (project dependent).
Dimout reduces light, it does not guarantee total blackout in every installation. Results depend on lining choice, curtain fullness, window shape, and fitting (including overlap and seal at the sides).
