Expectation setting: Avon is a daylight vertical blind fabric. It is designed to let light pass through the fabric for soft shading, so it is not blackout.
Avon vertical blinds for contract interiors
Avon flame retardant vertical blinds are specified for office and contract environments. The blinds open and close easily, with stacking position selected to suit the window and room layout.
Two headrail control options are available: chain/cord (chain for traverse with a cord for louvre rotation) or a wand control system (wand traverse with twist action to rotate the louvres).
The Avon daylight fabric is specified to provide the required level of shading and can be used as part of a strategy for managing light and comfort. For cutting and finishing, your supplied information states dyed fabric can reduce dust when cutting and helps avoid white cut edges for a cleaner finish.

Who uses Avon flame retardant vertical blinds
Avon is specified for office and contract environments where vertical blinds are preferred for practical day-to-day operation and straightforward maintenance access.
It is also applicable where a daylight fabric is desired to maintain natural light while providing soft shading through the blind.
Stacking position options
The vertical blinds can be opened and closed easily, with stacking position selected at specification: Left Stack, Right Stack, or Split Stack.
Control operation
- Chain & cord: chain for opening/closing (traverse), cord to rotate the louvres
- Wand: wand traverse with twist action to rotate the louvres

Head rail features (VL30)
The VL30 premium profile vertical blind has a 40 x 25mm premium white aluminium headrail with top-fix brackets and wheeled carrier trucks. Transport of the louvres is via a precision-made aluminium spindle shaft.
Operation is via a metal control chain with a built-in slip clutch to tilt the louvres. Louvres are available in 89mm and 127mm widths; supplied at 89mm as standard. Louvres are supplied with weights and a white stabilising chain.
Wand control system (VL31)
The VL31 premium profile vertical blind has a 40 x 25mm premium white aluminium headrail with top-fix brackets and wheeled carrier trucks. A precision-made aluminium spindle shaft supports consistent louvre transport.
A wand controls the operation, with a built-in slip clutch assisting louvre tilt. Louvres are supplied in 127mm and 89mm widths with weights and a white stabilising chain.
