Bolton Twill is a traditional flame retardant cotton dimout fabric for curtain manufacture. Commonly used as either a face fabric or lining, with a diagonal twill weave that helps disguise surface dust and day-to-day marks in busy contract environments.

Expectation setting: Bolton Twill is a dimout fabric designed to reduce light entry. It is not a blackout fabric. As an NDFR cotton, if the fabric is wetted in any way it is essential to retreat the fabric to maintain flame retardant performance.

Bolton Twill is a traditional cotton dimout curtain fabric with a pronounced diagonal twill weave. It can be used as a face fabric or as a lining, depending on the build-up required.
It is specified for commercial and community settings where a practical curtain fabric is required and appearance needs to remain presentable between maintenance cycles. The twill structure helps to disguise surface dust and everyday marks compared with a flatter plain weave.
The fabric is certified to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B. As stated in the specification, it is NDFR: if wetted in any way, it is essential to retreat the fabric to maintain performance. Certificates and current care guidance are available in the spec tab.
