This spring-loaded blackout blind is built around an aluminium faceplate (cassette) and bespoke side rails, designed to help block light and draughts when paired with a blackout fabric. Operation is by hand via the spring-loaded roller mechanism.
The system has been independently proven by the British Board of Agrément to reduce heat loss by up to 43% (as stated in the product information).
