Expectation setting: These are privacy cubicle curtains (not sold as blackout). For most clinical use they provide effective screening; light transmission will vary by colour, lighting and how tightly the curtain is gathered. Darker colours are stated to offer higher light-blocking performance when unlined.
Venus washable FR cubicle curtains are designed for healthcare environments where regular high-temperature laundering is required. The fabric is described as inherently flame retardant and the made-up curtains are certified to BS 5867 Part 2C.
Curtains are manufactured to your stated track width and drop and supplied with 1" heading tape for straightforward adjustment. They are made with 1.35x fullness (slightly wider than the track) to create neat pleats without excessive bulk.

Choose Venus when you need a washable, BS 5867 Part 2C cubicle curtain intended for clinical laundering and routine privacy screening. If you need disposable infection-control curtains, use our disposable cubicle curtain range instead.
Commonly specified in UK healthcare environments including NHS settings, medical centres, doctors surgeries and physiotherapy practices. Also used in treatment and screening areas where privacy and compliance are required.
Venus is also selected for non-medical spaces such as beauty and therapy rooms where a hard-working, plain-dyed privacy curtain is preferred.
Unlined is typically recommended for this product. Darker colours are stated to provide higher light-blocking performance without lining; if your project requires guaranteed blackout performance, please select a dedicated blackout product rather than relying on colour alone.
